JOANNE GRIFFIN
Joanne Griffin is an award-winning strategist and transformation leader whose work explores the intersection of humanity and technology. Joanne spent over two decades inside the engines of growth at LinkedIn, Nielsen, and EY before turning her focus to the human cost of technological progress. She now works with governments, organisations, and start-ups to design digital systems that amplify human capacity, restore agency, and build trust in the age of AI.
She is co-author of Humology: How to Put Humans Back at the Heart of Technology: a multi-award-winning best-seller that anticipated many of today’s tensions between human capacity and technological acceleration. Joanne’s research and writing examine the psychology of adaptation, technostress, and the cognitive cost of automation, helping leaders and organisations design technology that augments, rather than depletes, human potential.
As co-founder of AdaptIQ, IrelandTogether.ie and Condutto.com, Joanne leads initiatives that bridge innovation with community and empathy. From mentoring women in global roles to reimagining public-sector digital systems for inclusivity and trust.
A regular judge for the European Automation Awards and named among Thinkers360’s Top 25 Global Thought Leaders in Digital Disruption, Ecosystems, and Change Management, Joanne’s work is recognised for combining scientific depth with human insight.
She is a frequent contributor to research programmes and publications, including UX Planet, UX Bootcamp, and Medium, where her essays on AI, attention, and agency have been widely shared and boosted by editors.
